Mountains Beyond Mountains by Rachel Naomi Raimans
I remember being very moved by Rachel Naomi Raimans' book. I think it's just she has this way of bringing herself to her medicine and her medicine to humanity in such a way. Paul Farmer's book, Mountains Beyond Mountains, for sure. Cutting for Stone, which must have been mentioned on this show a thousand times before. Really a wonderful book. Oh, and anything by David Sedaris that causes you to freely weep like on public transportation because it's hilarious.
