Miley Mountain's VMAs

Lee: Miley's VMAs performance was very weak sort of cultural appropriation. He says that a lot of white artists hinge their entire branding as an adult artist on black music or black style and black authentic the idea that like blackness means authenticity. Lee thinks there were some really excellent songs on her album but he didn't give it a chance immediately because he was tired of the rollout.
