The Structure Activity Relationships of Cannabinoid Compounds

The first six compounds, synthesis and characterization to ACS chemical neuroscience were published online in April 2013. A kilogram of each had been seized by Finnish customs and passed on to Finnish police out of Hong Kong. In that intervening period, someone somewhere in the world has thought about the sort of structure activity relationships that we've reported. They've designed some of the work we've done, but then also designed new compounds using that information. So it's a pretty unusual thing. It was like, you know, at the time, I was kind of pretty scared and just like a little bit concerned.
