Can We Have a National Health Service?
You can't get a poorer service for the nation that we've got at the moment. You either have to ration it by limiting people's access, or you actually price it what it is. Gus: I was one of the first to flag up not to do lockdown because lives saved would be dwarfed by the deaths lost in lockdown. But finally, if we look forward to the National Health Service in a decade, should there be a National Health Service? Will we be looking at a service closer to the public private models of successful health services around the world? What would you personally hope to see?
