Are You a Politician?
I want a politician to have some base line moral values, rit. No society could function if you did not have somebody doing this job of social venation. I'm very clear that if intellectuals enter politics, they should enter as politicians. It is an intellectual job,. i think, to state how thi how they see the world as clearly as it is, without fear or favour. But they should offer it in the spirit that once you have made an argument in public, it is just one argument amongst. Any amini, i'm not a big fan of claiming authority in politics. It as partly that militates against the principle of equality, that mil against the idea of legitimacy
