Joe: We get tricked because we could just chase these things that people might think are cool and especially I think even more so for people of color or marginalized groups we want to prove to everyone that like we're here we could do this. Joe: More often than not we're chasing this recognition for our entire group of people so that is when it gets dangerous because we're more likely to forego our own values and desires. "We're trying to change the world and how all of humanity thinks but it's not all on us like it shouldn't fall on our shoulders," he says.
