Honda had a test team in Japan for all the years of the Honda contracts. It was running perhaps once a month roughly over six weeks so they probably do 810 tests their year on all the engines. The tyre deck wasn't so huge Brazil was because of the nature of the tarmac which had lots of seashells in I think it was very abrasive and we got high deck. Even then you had to do a one or two stop race which is unusual for that period in time.
