The Buddha's Experience of Suffering at Old Age
Siddhartha is in his prime of his youth and yet he sees and takes in the reality of old age. He's trying to communicate that and what we, I think, try and do in our society, just gloss up or ignore it completely. It's an experience of suffering at old age. And that's what the Buddha saw.
