What Artists Are Doing When They're in Professional Drawing Mode

Artists are switching on a way of seeing the world that's very specific for drawing compared to seeing for day to day life. Our visual system is very much built for survival, which means being able to identify objects in our environment. So artists brains are different when they're in professional drawing mode. A disclaimer at this point that rebecca's experiment used artists who are trying to draw the world. This is a small fraction of what art can be. i think defining what is or is not art is probably beyond the remit of crowd science.
