Interviewers who feel like they need to play gotch are more likely to do so. Rather than try to pen someone down on details, you let them press what they know about it and then ask questions based on the things they express. In an interview, i don't want someone getting caught in a dumb lie. It's much better to say, this how i think it works. I'll confirm, and i'll get back to you. And then you do that. That shows a much more rational approach to problem solving... which is probably what you're looking for. You're not looking for yo page one of google searches? Yes, no, i think that's true.
