How Can You Incentivise People to Try Cultivated Meat?
Cultivated meat could have an equal opportunity to be liked and accepted by everyone. But the way you frame it is largely going to determine whether you get any sort of resistance to it. Talking about the environment in that study made people more likely to say they would want to try it and buy it, but they were automatically expecting that just because it was going to be better for the environment as a consequence, it would therefore be less tasty. People will often succumb to peer pressure. So if you're out with a group of friends and somebody orders something novel, other people are more likely to follow suit and give it a go too.
