Another thing that i found interesting in what tod said, and in the book too, is this notion of rational self interest. You kind of described it. There's a work called the right to be greedy by an anonymous group published in the seventies. They say capitalists self interest is not real. Self interest, n in scarequotes, is not real enjoyment.
