The Importance of Intentional Community
I was listening to Janavarcha's advert for a retreat. Almost made me want to go on one, but I remember my own first retreat. David Metra wasn't on that one, he was on my second retreat. But my first retreat, I was only there for three days and I made four friends on that retreat who are among my closest friends today. So it's Madhu Vadra, Dhamma Dina, Mangala, and Mauryi Chi. There's still, whether I see them often or not, there's still among my dearest friends. We can come very, very close if we share a common ideal. That draws us far more closely
