The Fed and the Fed Meeting This Week

The Federal Reserve is meeting this week and it's the first time that we actually are bringing it up. When I think about what's the real tell for the economy this week, it's whirlpool. Steve Lee: The Fed wants a real or inflation adjusted rate that's far higher than where it is right now. And then look at the bottom there, the long one rate, 0.5%. That tells me that there's a lot of folks on the Fed who think that 50 basis points of tightening is what's required to get this economy into a place where inflation is near 2% target.
