Is the Universe Metastable?
I think we can rule out to about two Sigma that the universe is stable with current measurements of the Higgs mass and the top quark mass, which is what matters. And it appears like as guesses that we're in the metastable region, but we don't know the parameters for sure. It could be that some other thing along the way, like, you know, actually means that it's no longer unstable or more wrong about this. So okay. Plan for the future pay your taxes. Just plan for a minute. You can never be too careful.
