The Battle of Thermopylae

The battle of thermopyle was fought between the greeks and the persian army. The Persians won after three days of fighting, but it wasn't all bad for the Greeks. It bought them time to build up their defences in other parts of Greece. Next week we will talk about the crucial battle of salamis that took place during this war.
