A New Approach to Syphilis Treatment in the US
Two thousand black locals working for the delta and pine land company are infected with syphilis. The programme is funded by the US Public Health Service, who hope it will be replicated in other towns across the country. Right now, there is no cure but drugs that render the men non infectious can at least keep other people from getting the disease.
