The Biden Administration's Threat to Repeal Section 230

Judge Doudy's order cites to a Fox News article in one of those like, you know, vote notes to a footnote to a footnote. It cites to a June 2022 Axios interview with climate adviser Gina McCarthy as proof that the Biden administration threatened to revoke section 230 if tech platforms didn't fall online. But McCarthy did not even mention section 230. She just said the tech companies have to stop allowing specific individuals over and over again to spread disinformation. Not a single person covered by this order has the power to amend or revoke section 230. The only body which can amend or revokesection 230 is Congress.
