But what ends up happening in the 19 sixties and seventies is that as this sort of economic way of thinking starts to gain hold in policy spaces, it kind of generates a response in academic s. You have the sort of sort of cycle where the ideas get reinforced because you have new academic spaces where they're being advocated for.
