In almost any normal case, if your brain is functional and intact, ultimately the way you interpret and internalize experiences is at least in part up to you. I think that character is a thing that's built over time. It's it's the summation of a variety of different choices. And so i think that in the cse of the murder that you talked about, if their brain is functional, an they weren't exposed to lead, or they weren't eno tormented or tortured as children,. i'm sure you could probably find people who've been through experiences that are just as heinous, holocot survivors or what have you which did not then go out and murder people
