The Timeline for How This Trial Played Out

The trial was supposed to start on Monday. It got delayed one day and there wasn't an official reason given for why, although we had reporting that there were settlement talks ongoing between the two parties. This also came on the heels of some pretrial rulings the judge had made that were unfavorable to Fox. The bad publicity is overstated because I think most of the people whose opinion Fox cares about even after this will still believe they did nothing wrong. But it may have some marginal impact on who's willing to go on Fox shows if it had been bad enough.
