Do You Think There's a Battle Between Optimistic and Pessimistic in the Democratic Party?

I think there's kind of a segment of democrats whom some people accuse of basicly being negative on the party and negative on america. Do you see that as a problem within the democratic party? Or do you think there's a battle between kind of an optimistic message and a pessimistic message? i don't know, i may be reading it a little bit tothe the chantel brown versus nina turner race, but i i let you interpret.
