The Natural Response of Caring

Every creature that is ever incarnated in the history of the universe takes a form and dissolves back into the formless. So if we really come close to the reality of lost and dying, there's a natural response of caring. To be profoundly engaged in this way, in this living compassion is, again, as with the others, is really challenging. We're inextricably woven in this living, dying web.
