Why Deep Learning Isn't Adaptable to Humans
The car and the deep learning AI mimic one capability of the human or horse to an excellent degree, but that doesn't mean they have captured anything essential about biological locomotion or intelligence. The machine does what it does by operating in a profoundly non-biological, hyper specialized way. And that hyper specialization is only viable because people build ecosystems for machines such as flat tarmac roads.
