How to Grow and Sustain Communities of Practice
If you're not the one who is really creating the content and doing the work, that holds everybody back to just rely on you so get out of the way. Where it's needed, especially where people are new to this openness of the discussions, give them examples how to do it and then let them do it. And don't ask for permission to the upper management that's exactly same thing I can underscore but protect the people that they are not torn between.
