What Are Some of the Challenges in Name Change Law?
The most mundane things, you know, that any m kind of legal services or civil legal a services attorney will navigate with clients are always at issue when talking about questions in poverty law. But particular to the experience of some of the individuals that i was serving are these requirements over and above the existing requirements for name changed petitioners based on their imigration status. One of the things that i assume drove us both to write on similar issues, it is these kinds of things that don't match what, at least the pellat courts say the law is. And we both came to a similar answer, which is scholarship.
