If you don't want to be a doctor, and you hang out with harvard medscal people all day, then i imagine you re havin quite a miserable existence. It makes sense that if memetic tendencies are pervasive and ubiquitous in all people no matter how you cut it,. Then the solution is not to try to be anti memetic or non mometic, but rather to construct your social environment thoughtfully such that what's getting memetically replicated is as wholesome and pure and independent as possible. And i think there's really two things here: The content and the form.
