He was very, very successful for a very long time. Had a lot of money, and he used to invest in real estate,. And one of the things he invested in was a yacht. When his marriage fell apart, he bought himself what he called the land yacht. He dressed as a captain; would go around hotels pretending they were renting out rooms but really just staying in their car. It does stound alsom on one level - after a divorce, sleeping in his car.
