Pratt & Whitney's A220 Fleet Is Not Flying Regularly Due to Harsh Conditions

Nearly 20% of the exclusively powered A220 fleet is listed as not flying regularly, including 26 in storage. Pratt hopes to have its new production method for the geared turbofan engines fully transition to the advantage variant by 2026. In the meantime, it'll continue to add maintenance repair, overhaul capacity and develop repairs to help keep the current fleet operating.
