The Burden of Being Poor

When you've grown up poor, you live in a mindset of being poor. It's hard to ever acknowledge the fact that you have for a few reasons. As soon as you start earning what I call the first dollar, there's always the first dollar that a black family member will make. And that dollar has so many burdens upon it because you've got to look after sometimes the parents that helped you make that first dollar. These are all things that weigh on us.
