Vanguard, as an advisor, now has to have private equity. The rule on the books is that a fund cannot own more than 10% of a stock. I think because that rule was made before fund complexes became such a big deal, they might look to rewrite that. There's many companies where you can get a Vanguard or BlackRock fund like Fidelity but it's not a huge deal for the investor.
