The Story of a Deer in the Snow
Lauren don leslie was 15 years old, a grade ten student at nachaco valley secondary school in vanderhoof. Laren had been born with a genetic disorder that left her legally blind, with 50 % vision in one eye and no vision in the other. She 'd been diagnosed with depression, but over all, she was seen as a normal girl who was generally happy and upbeat. Her parents successfully co parented, and she kept a room at her dad's house. Lauren always wanted people to be treated fairly, and spoke up when she felt they weren't.
