Steven Spielberg's ET - A Film Review

The Fablemans is a very personal story about childhood that is, you know some people have said there was a rolling stone thing. It's also less universal and it's not a surprise that it hasn't set the box office on fire because it's a niche. The film has an absolutely barnstorming final scene which I'm not going to spoil despite the fact that everybody else appears to have done so. There is a really really lovely final scene that sends you out of the cinema with a spring in your step. As a piece of filmmaking it's fine and I even loved bits of it but it is a small film. It's an appendix to his career. It isn't ET
