"I knew something wasn't working. I wasn't getting the reaction I wanted to get from people," he said. "The thing that matters the most, right? Someone's going to love your work and someone's going to hate it." The film was re-written by director Giamro Del Toro after a lot of Spanish elements were dropped. It required some really difficult reshoots because we had hit pandemic three and a half years later.
