The Fatal Conceit of Hayek
The fatal conceit of Hayek in one sentence is, it is the belief that everywhere there is order it came from conscious design. And he traces this all the way back to Aristotle and a phenomenon that Aristotle called taxes, which is the arrangement of words. The only way we're going to have order is if someone arranges it. We begin to see the counter examples to this not just in the free market, but in the mermaids of starlings right there's no order that's planned at all. So praxeology focuses on providing a model that starts with very simple rules like the axiom of action starting with certainty.
