The Negatives of a Diagnosis
There are tangible barriers that people with this diagnosis actually have in society. So if you want to, let's say, immigrate to New Zealand, you can't with autism. They literally won't let you immigrate there. It used to be the case with Canada as well, but it's gotten better and it's not the case with Canadian anymore.
