Daniel: What advice do you have for an emerging filmmaker somebody who is about to declare that they're going to make their first feature film? Alison: I think my advice is selfish because I want to stop seeing the same old stuff over and over again. Daniel: Do a kind of deep investigation into what rules you are maybe unwittingly believing in, which ones you feel pressure to follow.
