Utilitarianism
The ancient ethical system was called virtue ethics, which is really focused on forming character of soul. In modernity we switched from that paradigm to utilitarianism and focus on impact. Pleasure isn't necessarily the thing you're going for, but human flourishing might involve some element of suffering.
