The Risks of a Collapse in House Prices

I don't foresee a collapse in house prices bringing them back to some former, more affordable situation. The underlying growth of house prices will be a lot lower than they have been over that period. I think we've reached the limit of the household sector's capacity to service mortgages. Which is essentially to build an anti-fragile system.
