Cumin Seeds and Oil
Caraway, coriander, cardamons, puppy, aniseed, saffron and turmeric described. Cumin or cumin seed. The aromatic fruit or seed of a plant of the genus Umbalifera. It is referred to in scripture, Matthew 33-23. As salt was a symbol of friendship, shearers of salt and cumin meant intimate friends.
