Ancient Mythology - The Odyssey

The Iliad deals with 10 days within the Trojan War, which traditionally has been thought to have taken place from 1194 to 1184 BC. Although this poem doesn't deal with a historical event, it is a story that can be dated to taking place in the Bronze Age. Other writers have also written about ancient myths, with some just after Hesiod, and all the way to Roman times. Accounts of the myths can be read from ancient poets such as Hesiod, Ovid and Apollodorus.
