Most of them were in their 40s, but the ages ranged from 26 to 72. It was all over the map. There was a black couple that left their kids and then they saw the pamphlet for it. And so they joined up with the cult. But at that point, again, it's just like you have a whole group of people who threw away their whole lives. They threw away families,. They threw away all human connection. "Every woman that I've ever touched has never liked it," says Appoy.
