The Different Types of Data Sharing Agreements
Eric Schmitz: I only really learned about it four or five years ago, because I was involved in the production of a large open database. And so I had to spend a lot of time reading boring things like GDPR and trying to figure things out. He says sometimes there are differences between what you are obligated to do as a contractually updated employee at an institution who has rules and regulations by which they expect you to follow them. "Sometimes there's kind of discrepancies between them," he adds.
