I think he's been on the planet this whole time. I mean, because he took off with Boca-Ton and Din Jaren when they left the planet and he's been in the socket every time they've been flying the N1. Has he like since they landed on Mandalore again, he's still been there for a pretty long time. And that made me very happy. We see chopper who's more of like a really surly dog,. like murdering other droids, ejecting them out of the airlock and stuff and like R 5 D four.
