How to Teach for Learning

Teaching for learning is about quality, not quantity. How much better a student would do in any exam if they were certain of 66% of their learning rather than had some idea of 100%. What is the point of teaching GCSE level eight or nine work to a student who will only ever gain a level five? It's more important to ensure that the student is totally confident with all aspects of work at level four and five.
