What if I Missed the Worst Days?
If you left in the ten best and and missed the ten worst, you'd actually do far better than if you just bought and hild for the ten years. And that immediately led me to think was, while there's more merit in in missing the worst days than what there is for being in the best days. I even looked at a tenure periods in the 19 in the 19 six sixties and seventies, which was a bit of a big sideways moving market. That also, and this is where fidelity and these manage funds get it wrong, is that by being in for the best days, you are guaranteed to also be in for the worst days.
