In 2018, consensus stood up a protocol team and hired me as a product manager. So I started working on their theorem implementation, the basic client. And then the protocol is sort of managed through these calls, which are open to anybody who's contributing to Ethereum. They were run by this guy Hudson at the EF until he left in 2020 or 2021. He had to do this for like over five years, wanted to move on and I sort of stepped in and took over for him there. That's what I view today still.
