The Death of Tugan Crawley
The eulogy was given by Reverend Francis J. Healy at the funeral of Petrolman Hirsch in 1931. Crawley's attorney Mr. Weeks declared it was impossible for Crawley to receive a fair trial due to so many citizens and officers pushing for him to get the death penalty. It took over two days to select 12 jurors. The jury rejected 23 prospects, including one who said: "I don't know these people... I'd like to see their pictures"
