The Paradox of Religious Zionism

Zionism is a very expensive proposition. It takes physical sacrifice, but even more so, it's a psychologically traumatic ideology. You cannot run a Jewish state without a consistent, internally consistent definition of what it means to be Jewish. The result is an anti-Semitic, racist mixture of various ideologies. That's the antithesis of traditional Judaism.
