The Importance of Open Source Information in Monitoring Disinformation

Open source information can allow us to be a bit more granular where satellite imagery is just not good enough. This became even more relevant with the conflict in Hartum, which is a quite dense urban environment. What we saw during our research and analysis is that open source information was probably the only way for us to understand what's happening down to the neighborhood level.
